maxomaiLast night during Oakland's protest against excessive use of force by the police, undercover officers with the California Highway Patrol made an arrest that was pretty thoroughly documented. NBC News has photos and some details here, but there's much more documentation here on Storify.
There are also unsubstantiated rumors that one of the pictured officers was urging the protesters on to violence.
So, two reminders for anyone out marching for justice:
1) The police will have undercover cops among the marchers, so watch your shit.
2) The police might be among the knuckleheads calling for acts of violence, so watch your shit.
