JEERS to Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who is losing badly to Mitt Romney -- in his own state. In fact, quite a few Texas Republicans think his campaign has hurt Texas's image, according to this poll. He's not politically dead yet, but I think it's safe to say that he has a long, long way to go if he wants to be credible in 2016.

CHEERS to masturbation! Is masturbation, in fact, abortion? This guy says "yes!" His conclusion isn't that stupid; the syllogism is perfectly valid. It's his axioms that are wrong. But, even if they were correct...what would be the problem?

As a Texan, I have to say that Perry shouldn't be surprised at the news and is extremely unlikely to ever be credible. The man is despised, except by latent (or not-so) racists and bad Christians, who apparently have a good voting bloc. And that's even before you get to his poor political track record.
