I don't think it will much change the dynamics that the OTO and EGC experience now. Most people join OTO because they're interested in Crowley or a darker sort of Paganism, and that is going to continue. Most people will find themselves comfortable here and will stop exploring. Some people will find challenges here and will keep exploring within the system of the OTO and A.'.A.'.. Some people will find it not to their tastes and walk out. I figure, ballpark, a 10/90 mix of continued self-examination and magickal work versus accepting or rejecting OTO and EGC based on taste, which is pretty much what we're seeing now IMO.
What will change this dynamic is a cultural shift within OTO. An emphasis on more magickal work on one hand, or putting aside of magickal work (except for those interested in such things) in favor of greater emphasis on promulgation on the other (as AC apparently intended; viz. Progradior Correspondence p51), will make a big difference in who shows up and who stays. The OTO is the master of its own ship here.
