And now, time to call the last unresolved 2012 prediction

In December, 2011, I predicted that Boehner would be ousted as Speaker of the House in 2012. As of last week, I said that it was too early to call this prediction.

With his re-election as Speaker just now, that prediction has been put to rest. My official record for 2012 is 5.5 out of 9 predictions correctly made. Not that bad, but I've had better years.

#Anonymous uncovers gang rape cover up in Stubenville, Ohio.

• The local high school football team raped a 16-year-old in pretty horrific fashion


• Local police and prosecution sweep it under the rug


• KnightSec uncovers and publishes evidence of the rape and cover-up


• Rapists now being prosecuted

This shit should produce India style outrage. I doubt it gets more than a few dismissed protests here and there.

UPDATE Lest you assume I'm just Hating On Football, here's the story of a 19-year-old who was drugged, strangled, raped, and then told no charges would be filed - at Burning Man, 2012. Yes, hippies do this shit too. Yes, these are equivalent. Rape is rape.
